Let the count down begin... June 18, 2010. This will be my most anticipated film of the year. Shit. I have been waiting for 10 plus years for the to make it. I know that Toy Story 3 was a victim of negotiations between Disney & Pixar a while back. Me, my kids, who are only 8 & 4, cannot wait. If you read this review about the trailer. They ask; "...Will it be able to compete with Cars, Rattoullie, Wall-E all "modern" classics?"
I say yes.
It will get a lot of leeway. I saw the 1995 release. I shared it with my kids when they were just babies. They are 8 & 4 now. I don't think they really understand when it was originally released. They don't care. We usually watch Toy Story & Toy Story 2 once every couple months.
Sure we'll be able to tell that 3D technology has come a long way. But Toy Story is a classic and we are all going to tolerate a better looking Buzz & Woody.
The only way Pixar this movie would have failed. Is if they would not have used all the original voices.
So just 246 days left.
